The season has begun very much as the ‘Theo Allport’ show. Within a month Theo has scored his maiden century in any cricket at Bossingham, and followed this with a maiden hat-trick at Goodnestone against Wickham & Stodmarsh, finishing with 5 for 20. He is racking up future awards at a rate that is going to put the Treasurer under pressure! Congratulations Theo, and may there be many more.
Incidental to Theo’s success the Stragglers notched up another victory against Wickham & Stodmarsh, reducing them from 179 for 3 to 191 all out (a collapse of which the Stragglers could be proud), and going on to win by three wickets with you know who, yes Theo again, scoring the winning boundary.
