Cruising for victory with Jasper and Pit-pat smashing sixes though the cedar trees into the park land, everything was perfect at the most perfect of country grounds. Plenty of fire power in the locker, 120 for one and cruising; Giles was forgiven the pies that had brought the Otterden innings to a frenetic, and rather fruitful (for them), conclusion. Some excellent catching both in the deep and around the wicket had kept the lid on Otterden for 38 overs, until that final flurry. However, Jasper falling just short of an other century, a couple more wickets, a freak run out of non-striker Bertie, and the wheels came off for the Stragglers in a fashion not often seen in 2011.
