Not since 1956 have two Stragglers taken a hat trick in the same season, and at Highland Court Toby Russell-Vick emulated Theo Allport with his first hat trick in any cricket. And what’s more the younger batsmen on show did not resort to unconventional shot making early in the piece, and carried the Stragglers through to victory.
