The undoubted highlight of the first game at Bossingham was the very well constructed first century by Theo Allport. Theo opened the batting, and built his innings with a calm maturity that belied his years, hitting out with a brace of sweetly struck sixes after he had passed fifty. Theo was ably supported by Bertie Berger, early in the innings, and then, after a mini middle order collapse, by Jamie Lavers. This is the fourth consecutive game with a Straggler centurion, a sequence which began at Bishopsbourne last August.

After a rain free season in 2009, the weather intervened to prevent any play at Street End.
